Breech Baby

Went to the doctor yesterday I’m 36 weeks and 6 days. Doctor said my son is still breech and is scheduling a csection. When I tell y’all I’m TERRIFIED OF CSECTIONS! I’ve heard so many horror stories and I’ve heard the pain is awful more worse than a vaginal delivery. Has anyone been in my situation and can ease my mind? I couldn’t sleep all last night and I’ve been praying for baby boy to flip so that I won’t have to have a csection. Some of my colleagues said csection is best. How do they cut you? What pain meds are involved? I need all the deets from anyone’s experience.
