How long after MC does it take for hCG lines to completely fade?

I lost a pregnancy at 5weeks on September 13th and haven’t had my period back. I had a test done this morning and had a very very faint line... is it possible it’s my hCG levels from September that haven’t completely left or is this a new pregnancy?
