Is this okay for preschool?

Okay so my son had his fourth a day of preschool today yesterday he stayed home sick yesterday. When we walk in the classroom nobody greeted him or said hi or good morning to him. and then another teacher was boasting about how little girl brought for friendship bracelets for her little friends right in front of all the kids in the classroom do you think that's okay?

That’s fine. Not every day will be a party when you arrive, and it’s often better when it isn’t. If your son wasn’t doing anything special ... and the other girl had something nice that they were talking about, what exactly is your problem, mom?
At my son’s daycare the only children who get a special moment when they arrive are the ones who need it because they are crying or distressed, or if the mom/dad needs to ask a question. Drop off is generally quick and pickup is more of a time for chats though, it’s easier for the kids that way.

That child did something special by bringing bracelets for her friends so they wanted to make her feel special about it, that’s a good thing. 
What did you expect they should have done differently?

I have worked at several daycares and have always been told to greet the parents/kids. It’s the professional thing to do. Even if the teacher is busy she could at least say hello...
