Holiday birthdays????

My daughters birthday is 5 days before Christmas. She’ll be 2 this year... I still don’t know how to handle this... lol. Last year we just did cake and hot cocoa and had kids make gingerbread houses. What do you guys do???

Mine turns 2 on 21 Dec 😊 it's the middle of summer for us so we'll do icecream, fresh fruits and a bbq. Depending on water restrictions we might set the paddle pool up and get some water guns otherwise we'll be hiding in the aircon or if it's not too hot we might go to the zoo.

That’s a great idea! Ours turns two on Dec 20 and I had friends over for soup, smash cake and normal first birthday stuff. This year, not sure... morning sickness is killing me, it might be simple!

My LO is 12/29. All decorations are down on 12/26 and we make a big deal all week about his Birthday.  Not Christmas wrapping paper allowed and I throw a big party that week. As he gets older and has more friends then family to invite, I’ll probably do the party after the new year.

I feel like Christmas kids get crumby birthdays. I had planned to do a small family thing on their birthday then have a big party with all their friends on their half birthday when he got older. For now they are so little they still don’t care though. I didn’t end up really having this problem since I ended up having a January 5th baby

Following my little girl was born 10 days before Christmas and my little boy is due 10 days after! Gonna have to figure out 2 birthdays around the holidays in the future!

My sons birthday is the 28th. I’m having a hard time trying to figure out what is best to do. Everyone seems so over get-togethers once Christmas is finished.

My oldest sons birthday is Christmas day. We do Christmas in the morning and have cake and a special present at night. We then plan a party after the holidays. Hes been okay with it and will be 9 this year.
