30 & 3/ contractions

I went for my 30 week appointment today and let my DR know that I had been having bad cramps and low pressure. So she checked me and baby has dropped! I’m not dilated but she felt her head, and said that she has dropped. She also put me on the monitor and I had 4 contractions in the hour I was on it. She said to just take it easy until my next appointment in 2 weeks and come in sooner if I have more than 6 contractions in an hour. She also said she doesn’t expect me to make it to 40 weeks. Any similar situations? What was your outcome?
