Low lying placenta. Will it move?

Midwife said that my 20 week ultrasound showed that the placenta was 1cm from my cervix. She said I will need an ultrasound at 32 weeks to see if it has moved up.  She didn't say that I had to avoid sex or be extra cautious about anything but I'm nervous.  I'm also nervous that I might need a c-section.  
For anyone else who had this, did it move up?

I'm having mine rechecked tomorrow. I read that 90% of previa diagnosed before 28 weeks resolves itself.

Mine never moved!  Luckily for me it was right next to the opening,  so my doc let me have a vaginal delivery,  but I ended up bleeding out quite a bit and was very weak for a couple days.  I think the doc did put me on pelvic rest for a couple weeks but that was it.

Mine was low at my anatomy scan, and had moved well out of the way when it was rechecked at 32 weeks.

I was diagnosed at 12 weeks with a complete placenta previa. I had bleeding and was removed from work and college for the remainder of the pregnancy because the OB didn't think it would move. 2 weeks later it moved enough to be low lying. A few weeks later it was completely moved and out of harms way. Took about 2 months.

I had a low lying placenta at 22 weeks and it moved by 28. It is nothing to worry over (: your uterus balloons up as it grows and the placenta will move with it.

They found mine at 20 weeks and it was 2 cm alway then at 24 weeks it was 2.2 cm away now at 30 weeks it's 4 cm away! The only way it can move is up and almost every time my dr said they move. So good luck
