Oh my god this is my family

I have 3 adopted brothers and 1 adopted sister and we are different races. and we’ve caught ourselves having conversations like this. God I can’t remember the exact conversation but I was talking about getting some kind of trait from our mom and my sister said “bitch did you forget that I’m black” and I spit out my cereal because I was about to inhale that shit and laugh and I was like “no I forgot that you’re adopted” 💀 and I actually did forget and felt really stupid lmao. But in my defense I was talking about personality traits which can come from people who have raised you blood or not. She definitely got that attitude from our mom. You can fight me on that.

And being adopted is not a sensitive subject in my family. It’s celebrated.
