I have had two and there has been no testing. I was told not until 3 in a row will insurance pay for genetic testing.

They test your blood when you go in the first time then again 48 hours later. You would be able to find out within 3 days. My doctor wouldn't say it was a miscarriage until the blood work came back. I was 12 weeks from my last menstrual period and she still couldn't tell from an ultrasound.
