Is my mom going to die?

My mom has a doctors appointment Friday to see if she has cancer in her ovaries and idk if I have anything to worry about because it’s either that or early menopause. She’s been bleeding for 3 weeks straight and the doctors need to do tests but we won’t have an answer for awhile and I’m scared, I can’t lose my mom at 15. Can someone tell me if that’s just a sign of early menopause or not?

Just relax, don’t look anything up on the internet and just wait for the doctors. It could be anything try not to think the worst

Well. Either one they probably would have to take her uterus and ovaries out. My mom was bleeding a lot and having periods like 2 times a month. It was an early menopause thing and they put her on hormones. My moms also a nurse and I don’t know everything but I’m sure if it was cancer they’d be able to take it out depending what kind it is since you don’t need your uterus. Don’t fret. Seriously it’ll eat you up inside. Just try not to think about it and when the appointment comes do something to distract yourself and tell your mom to tell you right away. Good luck. Also even if it was cancer, not every cancer kills you, some can be treated and cured

Well it sounds like the docs aren't sure what it is yet, so I cant tell you that it's not cancer. And if it is cancer, her chances of survival depend on a lot of things. It may not be a death sentence. Cherish and love on her, but don't get too stressed before knowing what it is. Could be nothing. Could be something that just needs to be quickly removed.

Mom turns out she had fibroids on her ovaries and she got a partial hysterectomy and she’s fine now !
