HIV Negative Results but could it still be positive?
Hey all
Prolly a dumb question but I got tested back in the first week of Sept. 7th for HIV rapid 1/2 antibody test and it came back non reactive. I got tested again at the end of October 24 for HIV 1+2 Ab & HIV 1 P24 Ag 4th Gen came out non reactive. I had been active with one partner from July to Sept. who didn’t use protection. And then had been active with someone in October we had used protection but had indicated at one point he took it off and we had been drinking 🤦🏻♀️.
Is it still possible to be positive if I were to take it in 3 months?
I haven’t recently been in any risky behavior but I just had strep in Sept. and at the end of Oct. and now having some funky symptoms after it with my throat being kinda dry, inflamed bumps on the back of my tongue but they’re starting to go down and I have a headache and a canker sore in my mouth. Not trying to sound like a hypochondriac lol - but it’s concerning.
I had also had stomach issues the last month and a half as well and was diagnosed with GERD and had been on Prilosec medication that ended up not working then prescribed Zantac which helped my stomach a lot and have been off of it.
I’ve usually been a healthy person all my life and I’m not sure what’s going on. I got tested for EVERYTHING ELSE as well and all are NEGATIVE
