If my stress was on a scale from 0 being a hippie in the 70s doing LSD and 10 being a pot head whose pipe just fell from their lap and shattered on the ground, I was definitely an 11 at the time my son was conceived.

Working, single mom, and in the middle of my masters of accounting. It was actually during the semester of my toughest class. It can happen, that's for sure!

I consived and had a miscarriage under A LOT of stress because of my job, it was eating me alive. it took me 7 months after that to finally say that's enough and quit my job. 
I gave my two week notice and this weight lifted of my shoulders, I could breathe again, and that weekend in between the two weeks was my ovulation period. I consived.

I had just taken over the company I worked for and was working 12 hours a day 6 days a week (sometimes 7), barely sleeping, and feeling like a crappy mom to my firstborn. It’s better now but I’m shocked my body thought THAT was a good time to get pregnant.

I was highly stressed when we conceived, I was just starting therapy and dealing with the trauma of my miscarriages, as well as looking after a very defiant and energetic toddler and trying to look after the house. I'm easily stressed, do at this point I was off the charts, but I still conceived and now I'm 22 weeks with a healthy baby.
