Longest you’ve been single before a relationship?

Been single for going on 4 years and I’m sooo ready for a relationship but it just isn’t coming. I’ve been patient for the past 3 years but this last one I’ve just been so anxious to be with someone. Anyone been in this situation? In ur opinions is it better to wait or grab life by the horns and get it yourself

10 years! I made a conscious decision to not date after I had my child, and to focus on her and my career. It was such a fantastic time for me. I learned so much about myself, and now that I’m in a relationship, I know exactly what I want and I’m not clouded by past relationships or loneliness.

I’m going through the same thing it’s hard and keep on thinking when Is he comming and if there is anybody out there for me . It’s hard to believe that there is at this point like how do you even meet people or where ? It’s hard but I guess we have to trust Gods timing & wait until he comes along bc it will be unexpected
