Would you pierce his ear?

I wanted to pierce my baby’s ears if I was having a girl, but I’m having a boy.. wondering if you would pierce your baby boys ear?

I couldn’t bring myself to do it with our daughter so I couldn’t imagine doing it to our son either. Unnecessary pain isn’t my forte.

I never want to pierce my babies ears. I unfortunately did for my girls because my SO mom and grandma kept pushing and bought earrings for them. I was annoyed and told them just whatever. But if this one is a girl I will not be getting hers done. Idc if people thinks she’s a boy and needs her ears pierced so people don’t mess up her gender idc. Leave my baby alone. But that’s my preference. It’s your baby you do what you feel is right. But if you do please go to a tattoo parlor or the doctors somewhere where they use a needle and not the gun.

I am 24 and never got mine pierced. My sister was forced by my grandmother when she turned 13 and she actually really hated it and was so self conscious about it. For my daughter, I'm waiting until she is old enough to make the decision herself. It would be even worse for a boy, since a lot of kids I grew up with were picked on for being a boy with earrings. I wouldn't want to make that decision for them and have them regret it.

My mom did mine when i was young and i was so happy because i loved pierced ears but was scared of needles. I dont care to do it to my son but if later in life he asks for it, ill let him.

I’m not gonna pierce my girl’s ears. The healing process can be very painful especially if God forbid they are allergic to any metal. And sorry to say this but I really judge parents who pierce their baby boy’s ears
