When did you announce??

When did you announce your pregnancy? I'm curious to know if I should really wait the 12+ weeks. My immediate family already know (Mom, Mother In Law, Siblings, & Grandma)

16 weeks when we found out the gender

I told my family at 4 weeks and I posted it on Facebook at 6 weeks. I would have felt better having the support of my family and friends  if a miscarriage did happen.

We are waiting only because we have been planning our elopement for Sept 19. Just found out this week we're expecting! I want to be able to announce the elopement first before we announce baby.

Family right away, my husband told one friend and it spread like wildfire through his little hometown. We told the rest of the world after my first appointment.

I was about 8 weeks but this is #5 so I  was already starting to show! Well... I just liked like I really like cake:) lol

We told immediate family right away at 4 weeks. We announced on social media at 10 weeks.

I think it's just personal preference, some like to wait for multiple reasons some like support, I am comfortable letting the world know as soon as I see a positive :).

My next appointment is at 11 weeks.  We'll tell soon after that.  (Immediate family found out yesterday at 7 weeks.)
