Breath smells after brushing teeth?

Don't get me wrong, I'm very hygienic. However, after I brush my teeth and use mouthwash, my boyfriend complains my breath smells.

Why could this be?

Floss and use a tongue scrubber on your tongue. This used to happen to me it's because I wasn't flossing and there was food in my teeth. Now I Floss every day.

Have you tried flossing before mouthwash? Or brushing your tongue really well? A lot of smell can hide in those places.

Do you floss, brush your tongue? Could be some type of bacteria imbalance. Try changing mouth wash and drinking more water. See your dentist if it continues to be a problem. Alot of people have bad breath and some people are just more sensitive to it. Like someone else said diet might have something to do with it.

If you still have your tonsils it could be tonsil stones. YouTube has tons of videos on them.

It could be many things..bacteria,  tonsils  and even your sinus can give off a bad smell.

Tonsil stones. It's bacteria that build up in your tonsils. My sister and I both have them. They cause bad breath and are painful if they get bad! My sister got her tonsils removed because of them and I'm going to have to too!! Take a flash light and look at your tonsils, if you see white clumps I would go see a doctor!

I used to have the same problem.  In my case i had q minor infection in my gums.  Brushing was pushing some of it out.  I didn't taste it because of the mint, but a little after I'd brush i noticed the smell.  Little bit of antibiotics fixed it right up
