Birth Video-Did you and your SO watch together?

Curious if FTDs go in blindly or if y’all watch a video together so he can prepare for what he is going to see?

He doesn’t wanna watch at all 😂 he thinks I’m weird for watching them. I was like ok but if you pass out nobody is helping you lol

My husband didn’t watch any and he was there holding my leg during labor and watching him come out. He was very supportive and calm!

We watched a couple for an online course I had signed up for from the hospital I was going to give birth at. One was unmedicated and the other had an epidural. Watching both of them made us very confident in my decision to get an epidural. 😂 I think my husband was more freaked out by the natural lady’s screaming than anything else he saw haha

My husband watches them alone 😂 I watch a lot of the cutesy YouTube ones. He watches more nitty gritty “things going wrong” ones. He wants to be prepared for the worst and I want to assume the best. 😂

We went to Lamaze classes & saw quite a few raw birth videos. I think it definitely helped him prepare mentally for what he could possibly see. Unfortunately, I had a c-section and nothing prepared him for that. 🤣

I didn’t even watch birth videos. I would have freaked myself out. But that’s just me
