I’m 17 and I’m about to go to the doctors to be put on birth control what would be the best method to use without stopping my period

An iud or implant. They're the most effective and last for 3-10 years. You can't mess them up and never have to think about it.

if you want a period every month i vote the pill... for so many reasons. 
when you have other methods it's way easier for your period to become irregular since you won't have a placebo break or anything idk just my two cents!
