So my fiancé just got off the phone with his brother. His brother informed us that his mom told him that just because I’m going to be the mother of my fiancé’s child doesn’t mean he needs to be with me 😑 like are you kidding me? I know he doesn’t have to be with me but we are in love. We are having a child and getting married because we are happy. She also said that we are being selfish because they have spent 8 grand on baby stuff for us? Um did I ask you for any of that no I didn’t. We haven’t talk to her in months because she was being rude and disrespectful, and she keeps buying more stuff for the baby!! She even claims she’s never gonna see this baby because we are moving across the country. We have everything we need. We bought our own stuff because she claimed she was gonna take everything back and that if she did take everything back we’d have no way to get what we need. Yet here we are and she has plenty of clothes, diapers, wipes, a bassinet, a swing, blankets, bottles, a car seat, toys! I understand being excited for a grandchild but fucking stop. They refuse to acknowledge I’m her mother so I refuse to acknowledge her as my daughters grandmother.
