Fybogel-has anyone used this??

I’m 8 weeks pregnant & severely constipated 😩 I’ve tried lots of water,walking,fruit,prunes,fibre rich foods & still nothing & I’m so uncomfortable,I feel like it’s backing up into my chest!The pharmacist said I can only take Fybogel so have had 1 sachet & hoping it will work soon.Has anyone had this & if so how long did it take to work please??Thank you

I’ve taken docolax stool softener that’s what my ob recommended. I would call your ob/midwife to be sure it’s safe during pregnancy.

Try Mirilax, twice a day until you start going on a regular schedule. Then drop to once a day.

I’m 9+3 and had the same problem. It was so bad I felt I had no more room in my stomach, I was so bloated and tummy pushed out from it I looked 6 months pregnant. I finally told my husband to get prunes or prune juice. He got me the prune juice. I drank it last night and am going pretty good today. I would say possibly doubling how many prunes you ate or get the juice. 
Also, maybe ask the doctor about what the pharmacist recommended just to be safe.
