When should I switch to a unscented lotion?

I'm still using ointment on it and it started peeling. Should I switch to lotion or wait until its healed? 🤭

You can use unscented lotion immediately. No need to wait .

Any time should be okay :) I use ointment at first because it offers a lot more moisture- but I personally like to keep my tattoos wrapped for 5 days. I switch to lotion after that because it isn't as slimy and my clothes don't stick to it as much :)

I switch to oil about 1-2 weeks in usually after it’s peeled

Do whatever your tattoo artost has eecommended. I sticked tomy ointment straight on till it was healed, as I was recommended. Now i put some lotion on atleast once a week x

2-3 days after getting the tattoo you can use unscented fragrance free lotion
