Ring stuck?!?

Argh im 37 weeks and there is no way my engagement ring is coming off. Im the type of person who doesn't like sleeping, showering and cleaning with it on. Ive tried everything, hand cream, floss under ring trick, oil, glass cleaner.  Any ideas?

I am an ICU nurse and have seen swelling more grand than most people can imagine. Before taking bolt cutters to your ring (be careful it will get very warm if you do this), soak your finger in an ice bath and use a water soluble lubricant in front of and behind your ring.  Once you've put the lube on try moving your ring back as much as it will allow, and put more lube on.  From here try slowly twisting the ring off.  I would suggest leaving it alone for an extended period of time to decrease the soft tissue swelling that you previously created. Try drinking a few glasses of water and seeing if that helps! My fingers have already gotten a bit swollen to the point of my rings not being able to come off and water helped! ☺️

Try wrapping dental floss starting at ring and going up your finger. You have to wrap it tight and then you should be able to slide ring off over floss. Not gonna lie hurts a little but better than cutting ring off. This happened to me both my pregnancies :)

Put your hand in ice water. Your fingers swell in hot temps and do the opposite in cold. That's how I got mine off.

Try soaking your finger in Windex and then lifting your hand over your head and try wiggling it off. I work in jewelry and we do this all the time!

Vaseline, massage oil, crisco, even butter. Twist the ring around until the inside is nice and coated and when it's moving more freely try and pull it off.

I seen this trick where this man took strong and started wrapping it around the finger, starting at the ring, until just about the while finger was wrapped and the ring came right off. You have to put a little pressure when wrapping and do it quick and he said it would work to take any ring off. Good Luck
