Flip mattress?

My son is still using the firm newborn side of his double sided mattress, but I’m wondering when I’m allowed to flip it to the softer toddler side? Also, when can we start giving our babies a pillow to sleep with?

My 14 month old has slept with two blankets, a little pillow and stuffy for 3 months 🤷‍♀️

My daughter sleeps without pillows but I do give her a blanket for under her head. When she’s in our bed she loves having a pillow though.

Flip at one year, he sleeps with a small stuffed animal and blankets.  I didn’t give my older son a pillow and tucked in sheets till he was 2.  He’s currently 4.5yrs and still sleeps all over the place 🤷🏻‍♀️

My son still sleeps on the infant side since the label says to flip after they turn two. He does not get a pillow yet either, he moves all over the place in his crib

I flipped mine a few weeks ago. It’s sooo much more comfy feeling. It says infant/toddler. With no age range. So I figured she’s a toddler now lol. So I flipped. I think I read some where 18mos for a small pillow.

I flipped the mattress after 1 year. Not sure about pillows...my LO is all over the place when he sleeps, so a pillow would never stay under his head lol.

I got her a memory foam mattress and she loves it. She sleeps through the night on that and has since about 6 months old. Do it! ❤️
