Anybody from Tampa Florida ????

Question

I’m thinking about booking a flight there to go  in a couple of weeks ? 
Is it safe to go around this time because of hurricane season ? 
What is there to do for fun ?

I’m from Tampa! 
It’s perfectly safe but deff do your research as to what beaches aren’t affected by red tide. I recommend bush gardens, going to south tampa/downtown to the Tampa museum of modern art (there’s a cool exhibition there atm) and while you’re there walk or bike on the river walk, and visit armature works. 
Also recommend taking a trip to downtown st Pete! St Pete had cool museums and scenery (the Dali, chi bully museum, etc)

I dont live there but have been there and fam lives there. Why would it not be safe??
There is Busch Gardens, and not too far is LegoLand. Theres an aquarium and of course all the beaches.  Go a bit north to Weeki Wachee and there is  a place to tube down and see manatees

I would do my research about the red tide some beaches are affected so be on the lookout.

Why wouldn’t it be safe to come? You can go to the beach, and there’s Busch Gardens if you’re into amusement parks. Those are the two most common ones I’d say.
