Okay so this was my first ever piercing. I believe I waited the 6-10(?) weeks, or whatever amount was on the instructions they gave, before taking my earrings out. When I did there was lots of gunk which I thinks expected. Well I’m still having issues with the piercings.

So it’s weird, whenever I change my earring too much or even just clean the piercings normally, my ear gets really irritated and starts oozing puss.

But when I leave them alone, (this is gross fyi ) and don’t change or clean my ears for a long time, then they are fine and don’t really get too irritated unless I do end up going too long with out cleaning. So it’s really complicated. If I clean my ears normally, they’ll get irritated, if I don’t clean/ change the earring for a like 1-3 ish months, they are almost always fine. Granted every time I take my earrings out they have gunk all on the earring and I’ll have some I can squeeze out of my ear but I’m not sure if it’s shampoo that got there or if it is puss. I’m so confused someone help me!!

PS, I wear my hand-me-down aunts diamond earrings or my fake pearl earrings that were around $20 but either way it’s the same results. And the cleaner I use is the one the place gave me, idk what it’s called but it’s a blue spray bottle with a merman on it. Is like salt water and something else, idk.

also good to note- since I got them done, I have never had my earrings out more than like 10-15 minutes except once when my earring fell out over night and have of my lobe closed up and I had to re pierce it.
