Why would you do that ? If you didnt want a child you should have been better at taking your birth control

I'm not a doctor and I haven't thoroughly researched it, but I would assume that the affects of the hormones in birth control pills could majorly affect the development of a fetus, since their growth depends heavily on having the right hormones provided by your body. In addition, taking birth control pills after you're pregnant is entirely pointless because you're already pregnant.
Summary: it is a very bad idea.

I just looked it up. FDA and a few other studies all say that it will not harm the baby, cause a miscarriage, or cause birth defects. That’s just not how the pill works. It’s different than an abortion pill. 
Like right now, I’m worried I could be pregnant cos I had unprotected sex (was right after my period) but I can’t test for another 5 days so you can bet I’ve been taking my pills again until I find out. 
And that’s okay, it won’t cause harm to a potential baby. Just like, stop taking them as soon as you know?

They say that it's happened before when women don't know they're pregnant and it doesn't effect the baby as long as it's early in the pregnancy. The longer you're pregnant and taking it the more it can effect your baby.

Absolutely nothing. If anything the hormone in it actually helps prevent miscarriages. I know because I didn’t find out I was pregnant until 14 weeks while taking birth control and that’s what the doctor explained to me
