Bumpers or no bumpers?

I'm trying to start get organized for the nursery and I keep going back & forth on this one. Bumpers or no bumpers for the crib?

No bumpers. All research indicates any type of bumper is not safe.

No bumper for me. They have special rail bumpers that go on each individual rail that are safer though. Pricey, but safer. I'm thinking about getting those or none at all.

I use a bumper. But that's my own choice. I also have video monitor as well.

I didn't use a bumper until the baby is able to crawl and move around independently.

I used a bumper and wish I would have taken it out after he could walk cuz he totes fell out of his crib from climbing on it! He was fine but we felt dumb. Next baby only mesh bumper
