I love him don’t get me wrong. He just got laid off work in a job he isn’t even interested in and since before we started dating he has talked about his dream career and all he has to do is take a test and obstacle course to get into the academy but he keeps blowing it off and when I ask him “are you sure you want to do this and not something else instead” he gets defensive about how it’s his dream. I just need to vent.
