I know the safest place is in the middle, which is where my 17 month old is currently rear facing in her convertible car seat, but I am expecting her brother to arrive in a month and trying to get everything ready. I just realized I’m not sure what to do with the car seat situation.

Looks like the passenger seat is second best, so do I move my daughter to the passenger side and put my sons infant seat in the middle, or will there not be room for the two to be beside each other/should they not be sitting next to each other like that?

Those with an infant and young toddler, what did you do?
