Does this look okay?

If had my tongue pierced for about a week now and the swellings finally gone. The hole is a little bigger than the jewelry it’s a little hard to tell in the pictures but does it look okay?

Looks fine to me but if the swelling seems to be too much for the length of the tongue ring go back to the piercer and get a longer one. There should be more than enough room to allow for swelling on a tongue ring. Since my swelling went down and I had no issues I changed mine to a regular length bar at around 3weeks/ one month. They usually heal pretty fast, you absolutely do not need a longer bar in for 6months-a year , that’s absurd and not recommended by any piercer as long as your piercing is healed and not swollen.

I’d get a bigger tongue ring till you’ve had it for about 6 months to a year then I say it won’t be bad if u have a small one in for a bit . My husband has his pierced and I want mine but he won’t let me lol
