Is it normal for your partner not to seek sex after childbirth?

I had a baby about 16 months ago. And ever since then my partner hasn’t sought to be intimate with me. I have not had the courage to speak to him about it Could something be wrong?

Mine was the opposite, he thinks me giving birth to his children is beautiful thing, all men are different maybe go on a date or set the mood for it and get sexy? If that fails I'd talk with him

I can't remember exactly how long it was but with my first we didn't have sex for a really long time. At least a year. She was breastfeeding, co sleeping/ bedsharing. I think some men just find it difficult to come to terms with what they've seen happen "down there" 😂
I know my hubby found it hard to initiate intimacy because our baby was so attached to me, at the time I only cared for her but looking back I probably should have done more to make sure he felt loved too.
