Yes, you can. But I usually don’t. I like giving my vagina a chance to breathe, so to speak. I also feel like I’m wasting a tampon since you typically change it again when you get out of the shower anyway, since the string is wet. Water typically slows down the flow of my bleeding anyway, so I’ve never noticed blood running down my leg.

yeah but I take it out before I go in and put a new one in as soon as I come out. I feel cleaner that way

I do, so that the blood won’t run down my leg while I’m in there. & so that when I get out it doesn’t get all over the towel while I’m drying off. And I just change it before I put my clothes on.
