Birth Control and Period

Hi Ladies,

I recently started taking the pill (I'm just starting my sugar pills) and I was suppose to get my period on the 6th and I still haven't gotten it. I felt like I was getting it last week but I didn't. I haven't had unprotected sex because I feel like having protected sex and being on the pill is the beady way for now. Is this normal/should I be too worried about this?
