Okay so i just got a new iud about 43 days ago and today, i had sex on for the first time while i was on my period. Before sex, it was dark blood and starting to thin out but after sex it’s bright red and a heavier flow. What could be the cause of this?? I just had my iud checked to see if it was correctly placed and it is. No irritation or anything has occurred. Has it happened to anyone else??
