I had the Kyleena IUD inserted in October of last year. I found the pain afterwards unbearable, eventually that subsided as expected. But over a year later my pms cramps are the most painful they have ever been. I normally have to take an extra strength ibuprofen when I feel the pain coming on. My doctor has even prescribed me naproxen. The pain is bearable but hardly..it gets to the point where I have to hunch over and take a minute to let the tension release. The cramps only last a few days out of the month but I’m starting to think the pain isn’t worth it. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this or do I need to get this looked at?
