What do you think about Kiran Gandhi

The girl who ran a marathon without a tampon. I understand the need to end the stigma on periods but do you think this was necessary or do you think it was too far?

Spreading bodily fluids is dangerous. Especially over such a large distance. I think it was unsafe and extremely disrespectful to the other runners and people who could come into contact with those bodily fluids.

The thing that confused me most is she said the reason she did it is because she didn't want to run with a tampon because it would be uncomfortable. But I don't see how running 26 miles with blood leaking on you would be comfortable AT. ALL.

Fuckin nasty. But I'd also say the same thing if she did "free peeing" or "free pooping".

I think she started her period during the race, was embarrassed, & made up a story 😂

But really, I think it's kind of "gross" I don't think blood is pleasant in any form, even my own.

Sorry but it's disgusting, and unsanitary. I get the point she was trying to make, but there are other ways to get the message across. Letting your bodily fluids just leak all over the place is hazardous to the people around you especially blood.

The cause isn't the problem. But I think her method of spreading awareness was kind of selfish. Why would she think anyone would want to see her period blood, let alone the health risks involved. If we can't find a better way of spreading the word and raising awareness than showcasing the blood coming from your vagina, then maybe we should wait until we have a better idea.

I think it's kinda gross, not because of the stigma against periods. I think it should be accepted in society as a natural process for people with vaginas, and it shouldn't be scrutinised.

No, I think it's gross because there's so much dieases that can be contracted or spread to other people through free bleeding. Especially in public. I understand she did this to raise awareness to those homeless people who have to deal with this problem because they can't afford sanitary products. But there has to be a better way of promoting awareness.

I think it's great. Also, as someone who runs long distance... I get it. Running on your period is one thing, but after the first few miles you start to chafe... BADLY. Running with either a pad or a tampon is extremely painful after a while. You get RAW. Inside and out. It's not fun.

I mean this isn't the most sanitary, attractive, warm image. I wouldn't do it. It is a little disturbing in a sense to me. But  have to say, the girls got balls. I give her credit for that.

Find another way to get your point across, and keep your bodily fluids to yourself!
