When are you announcing...

Question

I am 8 weeks tomorrow. 
​We were going to wait until second Trimester but it's getting more and more difficult to hide my symptoms. With my belly pooching out so much  more as weeks go by I am afraid people are noticing. 
​So as soon as our first appointment this week is over and we have that photo to confirm... I think we are going to announce. 
​Just have to decide how...

We told some family and close friends right away. When I am 10 weeks we will be at a family party that im thinking it might come out since I won't be drinking, and 11 weeks we will be at a wedding (same thing). We aren't gonna tell the world (aka Facebook) Untill the 12 week mark!

Once you are past 8 weeks your miscarriage rate drops to 10% or less. That's in one week for me. We are going to announce it as soon as we get an ultrasound photo this week. I have a cute announcement too! Eeeekkk!

With my first we announced it to the world the day we found out. It was a bold move but it turned ok as my son is now two. This time I want to wait till I can confirm a heartbeat at my 8 week ultrasound . We did tell our parents as soon as we found out and I've told my closest friends because if something does happen I need a good support system of people I can talk to.

This is my 3rd baby I'm 10 weeks and just cannot hide my bump anymore, plus my breasts gone up 2 sizes! So most people know but not everyone, it's funny people that don't know as I know there looking at my tummy thinking I think she's pregnant but don't want too ask her incase she's just put on weight lol I love it ?

We waited 12 weeks with the first but this time I'm waiting until I'm 10.  It's such a hard secret to keep and I hate secrets!  It feels like I'm lying to everyone.  And if we lost the pregnancy I would still tell people anyway.  Guess it just depends how open you are about stuff like this.

We told my in-laws at 6 weeks, plan to tell my parents at 8-9 when we see them in person, but I don't want to tell at work until 13-14 weeks. I work with kids and really want to be out of the risky period before they know. Good luck! :)

We told some people already, I didn't drink at my wedding so people were cornering me left and right and I kept telling them I just don't like alcohol. But some of them know I at least have a glass of moscato for special occasions ;) I plan on sending out announcements to family at 11 or 12 weeks, then post on Facebook a week later.
