So I need to cut to the chase and say that my first pregnancy went absolutely perfectly, so did my labour and birth. I delivered technically at full term at 37+3, didn't need any pain medication and had a water birth.

Now this is what gets me, and I need advice because ive been searching the web for at least a week now and cannot find anything to support what the hospital is trying to say.

My daughter was born perfectly, no issues and a score of 8 and 9 on the little chart thing when she was born, the only thing was that she had a Low blood Sugar reading, we spent 5 days in hospital but she was only on a sugar drip for 24hrs and the rest was because of young mum stuff.

..Miah tragically passed away from SIDS at 5 weeks and 2 days old. The coroners report has come back as SIDS with co sleeping. So the only thing I can truthfully gather from that is that my daughter passed away because of a circumstance that could have been prevented. I'm not blaming myself I'm just saying it wasn't anything to do with my pregnancy or birth.

I'm currently pregnant with my second baby I'm 17+1 and have been told that I've been marked as High Risk because of miahs low blood sugar and her passing away. I find that absolutely bullshit. They want to send me to a different hospital to birth AND they want to INDUCE me at 39 weeks if the baby isnt here by then.

I cannot find a SINGLE thing on the web to validate their reasons for marking me as high risk and I am absolutely refusing to take my daughter passing away for an answer.

I don't think that's fair on me or my baby or my fiancé or my family.

I can't find 1 article that says if your child has passed away from SIDS that will make you high risk in your next pregnancy.

I can't find 1 article that says if your baby had low blood sugar at birth, then you will be high risk in your next pregnancy.

And thats the only two reasons they've given me.

Now I could understand if I had any complications in my first pregnancy but i didn't, and I could understand if Miah had any serious complications at birth or after birth, but she didn't, and I could understand if the reports came back saying that it was actually something in her body that went wrong or failed but they didn't.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has been through this or knows someone that has gone through something similar; either with SIDS or low blood sugar and was told they were high risk in their Second pregnancy. I have my Midwife appt on Tuesday and you can bet I've got a tonne of questions to make..
