Can you take vitamin c tablets while pregnant??

I’m 9w and my immune system has been terrible. A lot of people say take vitamin c to strengthen your immune system but I was sure if it was safe to take while pregnant. Any suggestions?

Actually too much vitamin c can be harmful in early pregnancy. My dr said between your prenatal, juices plots supplements you do have to be careful early on. I don't know the exact amount but the emergen-c is what I asked about, he said just 1 package a day only for 3 days or so. For immune boost I recommend elderberry syrup.

Yes but ascorbic acid powder is better. During pregnancy I take 12 grams per day, the equivalent of 12 emergenC packs. Seems like a lot, but when you understand vitamin c, you’ll understand that the fda recommendations are way, way too low to offer much benefit. I highly recommend researching vitamin c.
