Always worrying

Sarah

It looked like I had a low lying placenta at my 20 week scan, so I was sent to a specialist at 22 weeks and was diagnosed with partial Placenta previa. I’m nearly 26 weeks now and my doctor informed me I would have a scheduled C section around 36 weeks. I haven’t had any bleeding yet, but I’ve had mild cramps my entire pregnancy. I’ve been put on pelvic rest since my 20 week scan, but I’m always worried I’m going to do too much in my daily activities to harm myself and/or the baby. The specialist told me that even walking for exercise could cause me to start having contractions. I’m a teacher and a coach, so I’m on my feet a lot throughout the day/evening. I’m trying to be more mindful of balancing out how much I stand/walk/sit each day, but it doesn’t ease the worrying. I don’t have enough sick days built up to be put on bed rest and get time off once our baby girl gets here. Any advice? Also, anyone else delivered at 36 weeks? A whole month early makes me nervous, as well! Any words of wisdom on any of this would be appreciated!
