Metformin and dieting?

I was put on 500mg twice daily on October 30th I haven’t really don’t anything different with my diet.. my fiancé and I are trying for baby #2 I’ve had some people tell me I don’t need to change my diet and some say I need too. I have pcos and my doctor still has me on BC too.. what do you ladies do or what did you do to get pregnant while on metformin?

First thing if ur trying have a baby u don’t need be on bc at all cause with PCOS reason hormones are off they are unbalanced already cause of the PCOS now with metformin is to help ur body get ur period on track to normal and for u start ovulating on its on to be regular and yes u have change ur first cause PCOS pumps ur insulin levels up so that’s why it’s givens one u  as well and u take it twice a day with a meal breakfast and dinner it’s  nice glass water and full meal once ur regular and go back to the doctors and get it blood draw and levels are good u will conceive in no time it’s waitin game but it’s worth it cause I came along way been trying for six years already have an 11 years old and now we are a month pregnant  cause the endocrinologist has help and when u do what she says and do the metformin right it will happen pray on it
