So I’m a Kaiser member and that’s where ALL of my prenatal appointment have and will continue to be but I’m at the end of my second trimester stuck as to where baby will be born! Reason being the hospital I visit doesn’t have a L&D department and the closet L&Ds via Kaiser are both 45 minutes away north and south ON A GOOD DAY! Add rain and/or traffic and it would be an hour and a half easy! I’m stressed because my last pregnancy I went into preterm labor and from my first contraction to being brought to the emergency room, by emt, where I had my baby was less then 2 hours!

There’s a single general hospital near by that has an L&D department, luckily I know my insurance will cover everything but do I have to pre registry with their birthing center? I checked their site and can’t find much but Q & A’s and virtual tours.
