My bp was 146/84 today, and now they want me to monitor it at home. I was reading about signs of high bp while pregnant and I’ve had multiple. Rapid weight gain (2-3lbs in nearly a week), abdominal pain like a pulled muscle a couple inches below my right breast, migraines, my ears get stopped up on one side often making hearing difficult, and I can’t wear my contacts anymore because my vision has changed so much only my glasses help. I’m just concerned because of preeclampsia risks, the fact afib and high bp run in my family, and I had seizures that caused me to go into cardiac arrest at 2 days old. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so have any tips to help lower my bp if it stays consistent?
