Perfect age gap for siblings?!

Not what’s easiest... I know it’ll be hard but I want my children to be close and be able to do things together 🤗

Mine are 17 months apart and it is kind of great. My 2nd is 6.5 months and  my first just turned 2. They both play with and entertain each other already. I am able to do more with two than I could with one because my 1st was always bored and wanting me to play with her, lol. Both are still in diapers, but that isnt a big deal to me. I cloth diaper, so no added expense, and I usually just change them at the same time. I dont think there is a perfect age gap, you get what you get and just make it work.

My sister n I was 22months apart n were super close as kids n my daughters will be 28months apart once I give birth in April

Both of my kids plus this one I’m carrying is 6 years apart. My kids are 12,6 and I’m 17 weeks so I feel this gap is helpful but I’m dealing with more complications now than I did my other 2. And honestly with this much of a gap I feel like I need a refresher course just because it’s been so long since I had a newborn lmfaoooooo!!! But I told my husband after this one I wanna wait 8 months to a year and try for another then momma closing up shop 😂

My oldest son is 7 years older than my second, my 3rd is 17 months younger than my second, and my soon to be born daughter will be 4 years younger than my 3rd. There is no "perfect age gap" between siblings. Having 2 in diapers was expensive though

After we have this baby I want to start trying for the next one when it’s 2 years old. When kids are around 3 or 4 I feel like they are able to actually understand what’s going on, and be excited about the baby. I’ve noticed kids under 3 get more jealous and when asked if they are excited about the baby coming, they say “no!” This is just my observation at the day care I’ve worked for three short years

I have one sister that’s 10 years older and one that’s 22 months older. We are all very close. I’ve become closer with my middle sister as we got older, but I’m still close with my oldest. My middle sister and I fought the whole time growing up. I couldn’t stand her in high school and we played on the same teams which made me feel like I was in her shadow and was always called “Michaela’s sister”. My parents also had to pay 2 car payments and we had 2 proms that overlapped. Plus us both being in college at the same time. 
My nieces are 4 years apart and won’t go to high school together.

There’s no such thing as a perfect age gap. My brother and I are 2.5 years apart and we’re not super close. My husband is 2.5 years apart from his sister and they’re really close. 
Our two kids are going to be almost exactly 3 years apart because that’s what worked for our family.

For me all 3 of my kiddos are 3 year and a couple months apart from each other. I find this a good age gap for my family.

My siblings and I are 4 years apart (I’m the middle child). My sister is 4 years older than me and my brother is 4 years younger than me. My oldest is 9 years old and I’m due in April with baby #2. I don’t think there’s a perfect age gap. Just whatever you want to do.
