Did any of you get the CFTR Gene Com Variants done ???

Just curious if any of you were tested for the Cystic Fibrosis Gene ? What is the test ? 
It is so expensive and a little frustrated 😟

I did - we have a niece (my husband’s sister’s daughter) with CF and knew it was likely he is a carrier so I wanted to get tested to see if I am a carrier. Thankfully, I am not. Insurance covered most of mine, we paid $200 out of pocket. It was a simple blood draw and I had results within a week.

Yes I was tested but my insurance covered it, I had no copay for the genetic screening (but I will also be 35 before my due date so technically I have a geriatric pregnancy and insurance covers more tests)
