Rage was my primary feeling for a very long time.

With my ex things didn’t work out but honestly if your going to forgive wholeheartedly then it can work out but if you don’t then it won’t work out at all. I had to ask myself what I did to give him the availability to cheat and I noticed that because I was never around that gave room for his mind to wonder and also he wasn’t strong enough to wait so in knowing that. I started to change things about myself but in the end we had a new respect for each other and I’m there for him and he is for me just not romantically. He also respects me a lot more! Hope this helps

It's hard... You go numb for a bit and start to wonder why? Then you blame the other person.. not all their fault whether you admit it or not you had something to do with it.. then depending on how well you communicate with the other person you talk about it and why it happened... You get an ugly dose of reality and from there you have to think about if you want to try and move past it... Some can, some can't, and for the rest of us we fool ourselves into thinking we can but it's always there.  
Even after 5 years, it's there, he knows it's there, but nothing he can do can fully erase the feeling.
