Question

My boyfriend was sharing a conversation he had with his uncle about he doesn’t want to get married. He would just do it because I want to.
 We’re not engaged but I can’t help but to think that if he ever pops up the question it will only be because I want to. Not because he sees me and has this feeling of: oh I want to marry her, spend the rest of my life with her, I can’t wait to see her on a wedding gown, etc. 
He doesn’t understand how this upsets me. It takes off all the motivation from me to keep this relationship...
I don’t know. I just needed to vent. 😣

I can understand how you see it as him doing it only because you want to, and not because he ‘wants to spend the rest of his life with you’. 
However, it could also mean that he simply doesn’t see getting married as a requirement of being together. And if he didn’t want to spend his life with you, I don’t think he would have even stated that he would propose to you...make sense?
I know as women we want the ring and commitment. But try not to overthink it....hugs 💜

You should probably ask him why he’s with you if he doesn’t see himself wanting to marry you. And that should open a whole conversation about both of your future goals and plans, and whatever else comes up
