Deciding to stay home?

Hi! I have a 15 month old and pregnant with #2. Any moms decide to stay home after their 2nd was born? I don’t see how I’ll be able to manage- I can barely make it work now. All thoughts welcome.

We are currently ttc#2. When the time comes I will have to be a stay at home mom. The cost for daycare is outrageous and to be honest I don't want someone else to raise my child. We are fortunate my husband will be able to support us. 
I don't want to stop working, I like my job and i am me when I work. Once that stops, I'll lose a little of myself and I'll just be a mom and a wife. But I'd that means I can raise my children and be there to support my husband, then I'll take it

If we have a 3rd my husband would possibly stay home.. I am the breadwinner in the family and our health insurance is through my job. My husband works hard, but has no passion for his job like I do.. he talked about how expensive childcare is if we had a third... my feeling is that you only need childcare till 5 years old, and then they are in school. My career is too important to our family’s long term stability for me to give it up and then try to re-enter the field in a few years. Jobs are competitive for what I do. If my husband had a job that he loved or that he wanted to build a career with then I would encourage him to stick with it and we would just be on a tighter budget for a few years. Chances are though, if he left his job he would be a SAHD for longer then just a few years

Well i had my second child but i only took 5 months off and this upcoming Monday will be my first day going back to work. Were better off having me working full time financially and my boys doesn’t have any trouble staying at their childcare centre.

I’m in the same boat. Working full time and #1 is in daycare. When #2 is born in July, the cost of both in daycare will be the same as what I make, so I will have to stay home. I’m super worried because I became very depressed and gained a lot of weight on the first maternity leave. I also feel bad about taking #1 out of daycare because he loves it so much!
