Short Cervix and Placenta Previa

Hello All:

I am reaching out to see if anyone else has been through this. At my 20 weeks scan, I was told i had a short cervix and partial placenta previa. My measurement then was 2.2cm. I was placed on progesterone suppositories, but no bed rest.

Yesterday I went for another scan and my placenta had moved up a bit, but my cervix shorten to .93cm. The doc was concerned but did not recommend anything. I asked him about bed rest and he said it isnt proven to help. I asked about the cerclage and he said that would not help either. I have a two year that I delivered at 40 weeks. So based on this they think my chances are still high.

Needless to say.....I am scared and worried due to very little advise from the doctors. I am only 24 weeks and my measurement is .93cm...under a centimeter. Anyone has had this issue?
