Baby daddy issues

So me and the father of my child broke up a few days ago. I stay in the same apartment and he has moved in with his dads and step moms which is an hour and 15 mins away from me. His step mom doesn’t like me and she geared him into ending things with me (it’s been a long road of relationship issues)

So the issue is that I have a job here in my city, I work Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday. He is looking for a job.

He just told me that I need to find someone to watch my son during the times I work. He is 6 months old and I’m really not comfortable with anyone other than him or grandma watching him for that long. He is saying he needs to get back on his feet and find a job of his own and I totally understand that. But he also has a commitment to his son.

When he worked here in my city, I ALWAYS worked around his schedule. Some days I would have to go home early because he started a little earlier.

It’s just stressing me out because I already missed a whole day of work today because he was our job searching.

Any advice?
