I hate clutter! Is all this stuff really necessary?

We will have a crib upstairs in the nursery- but my question is do we really NEED a pack and play downstairs, a rocker/bouncer, AND a swing for the baby? Help! All this stuff is stressing me out! Lol

We only have a bouncer. No pack and play, no swing. I dislike clutter too so I opted for minimal large items. I have a bassinet for our room, still have to get the crib for her nursery.

All you really need is a crib. You can lay your baby in the floor. It's not a crazy thing to do.  Lol

We had a crib upstairs and a small cradle in the living room. Also had a Stokke TrippTrapp high chair with the newborn seat for the dining roor, but that didn’t really take up any extra space.

You def don’t need it all but there are some babies that love being in a swing or bouncer. If you don’t have something  you may end up having to hold them all the time   So maybe just pick one. Or there is a swing bouncer combo you can get. 
We have the pack n play for the living room and it rarely got used so I might not even put it up for this one

You don’t need it but you might find it easier. Both our kids hated bouncers. One liked one type of swing and the other liked a different type. We have a pack and play in the living room. Mostly because we have two toddlers and this new baby may be killed if we lay him on the floor.

You certainly don’t need all of it. BUT babies are hard!!! Their attention span is minuscule and what they like or what works for them seems to change regularly. You end up with all the stuff because you are desperate to find anything to put baby down in so they stay happy long enough to allow you to pee!

It’s different for everyone. We used swing, rock n play and bouncer every day for the first six months. Haven’t used pack n play yet.

I’ve noticed after each baby I have, the less stuff I actually used for them. I didn’t use or need half the stuff I had gotten for my daughter. It’s actually very easy to raise a baby with minimal items.
